After I started training with Jesika I noticed a huge improvement in my strength and endurance. I ran a Spartan race and felt great about my performance. I was able to perform many of the obstacles easily! Plus she makes training fun and puts you totally at ease.

When I started working with Jesika, I had many “issues”. I had trouble walking up and down stairs. I was unable to get up off the floor without some furniture to help me. I had chronic pain in my back and arthritic hands and knees. After working out with Jesika, I am much stronger and more agile. I have much less pain. And, when I do have pain, I have some stretches and other tricks to make it go away. I am much more agile.
Jesika encourages and supports me. She customizes my workouts to what I can and can’t do. If I am uncertain about a suggested exercise, we talk about it and we figure out a SAFE way to work the muscles without causing an injury. She also works with me on my eating. Since retiring, working with Jesika is the best investment I have made. The quality of my life is so much better.

I needed a personal trainer to get me back into shape but I knew what I needed was somewhat of a tall order. What I needed was a female trainer with her own studio and close to work. I used to have one in HB a few years ago but she lost her studio due to the asshole shopping center management raising her rent! So I fell off, until I started my search again for a trainer.
I’m so happy I came across Jesika. She totally blows my last trainer out the water. Only because my last trainer was about a year older than me and still new to having her own studio to train in. Jesika is very knowledgeable and kicks your ass. She’s makes you use more of your own body weight to hold and balance yourself while do certain reps. Shes all about you working the whole body for each and everything you do. She always keeps it new, no kidding! I never been worked this hard physically in my life! Which is what we all need LOL. She also sends you texts here and there to make sure your doing what your supposed to do. She also makes you feel comfortable as if your old friends 🙂

I trained with Jesika two times a week for about 5 months and I lost around 5% body fat by then! She’s very positive and outgoing and constantly corrects my form, and also gave great tips on diet and nutrition. I highly recommend her!
Full Disclosure: Jesika and I’ve been friends since we were 13 years old so I might be a little biased when I say she’s one of the funniest, nicest, and most upbeat people I know. I hang out with her a lot, but it wasn’t until this past Saturday when I’ve actually worked out with her at one of her Saturday morning boot camp sessions by the beach. We’ve been saying we should work out together forEVER but it was usually a scheduling thing that prevented me from doing anything regular with her. Besides, I was always training for one marathon or another and when you’re doing that there’s very little time for other kinds of physical training (well, for me, anyway :P).
Since my next half marathon training won’t be starting up for a few months, I thought it’d be a great chance to check out one of her boot camp sessions. It was a great cross-training opportunity for me, since I run mostly and even when I do weights at the gym I don’t really push myself all that much. Plus, it’s not as expensive when you do a group class. Spring is here and it’s really nice to be exercising outdoors anyway. I must say, my first workout was pretty intense–I ended up doing all the stuff I usually avoid, like lunges, push ups, running up and down stairs, etc etc. It was very challenging, which was great, but if some of the stuff gets to be too much you can totally modify to suit your fitness level. Jesika never yells or screams at you (unless you want her to) but she’ll work you hard. Even though I whined and complained and got really sore from taxing some unused muscles, I’ll be going back for more next week.

She’s a stickler for proper form to ensure you get the most out of your workout without injuring yourself. I have a particular aversion to upper body work. After training with Jesika, I discovered that I was trying to work with more weight than my twiggy little arms could handle. With subtle corrections and less weight, I do more upper body work, even though it’s still not my favorite thing to do.
What’s also really cool is that she really gets into nutrition and spent a good deal of time putting together meal plans and shopping lists for me (sadly, a daily cherry danish was not in my plan). She’s also always researching the latest in excercise techniques so that the workouts don’t get stale.
I also like her focus on functional excercises that I can do when I’m not at a gym. Although her gym has no cardio equipment, it is well-equipped with everything we need to have a great workout. Another huge plus is that her gym is only 2 blocks away from the beach, providing a great opportunity to work beachside when the weather is great.

Jesika is fantastic and makes IT happen! She is an amazing person….always happy, positive and easy going. I look forward to my workouts with Jesika every week. You will get hooked on her crazy evil laugh and find yourself doing “only 40 more of those” and never know what hit you! Her workouts are perfect she really understands what your body is capable of and when it is time to change things up.
I have been going to Jesika for over a month and I have already lost 10% body fat! The results have been fantastic and even a surprise to Jesika when she took my measurements! I can’t wait for months 2 and 3’s results!!!
Couple of tips….if you want an excellent trainer call Jesika and tell her what you are looking to do…if you can show up do the work, do your cardio and keep your eating in check, you will get the results you are looking for and probably even better!!!!
No diets here!!!! Jesika designed a food plan for me to follow after listening to the types of food I eat….no canned tuna or cottage cheese for me! We are talking beef!!!! You will be happy to know Jesika herself is a foodie and cook and loves to enjoy life so she will never try to fit you into some diet box!
One more thing…I don’t live in Long Beach and some days it takes me 30 minutes to get to my appointment with traffic, but it is so worth it. If you really want an excellent trainer and you are close to Long Beach I suggest you give her a call!!!!

After 20 years of being away from the gym, I began training sessions with Jesika Fleming about a month ago. I’ve started with 3 days a week which have already increased my daily energy level and overall motivation.

I was introduce to Jeskia by my cousin who lives in Long beach, I was over for a 2 week holiday from Australia and I wanted to work out whilst on holiday.
When I met Jeskia she was super friendly and may be feel very comfortable. Then came the fun part – our work out.
I told her I wanted to that I was wanting to lose my pregnancy belly…
From there the pain began (lol) – we worked every part of my body and as I did each execrise Jeskia explained what each muscle was doing and why I was doing it. Making it easy for me to understand what my body was doing and why it was doing that.
As when I was working out with my trainer in Australia he never explained why my muscles were hurting and what to do about it, Jeskia explained this to me with a full explanation. Which was helpful.
Jeskia explained out important it was for me to eat properly and explained what i could do to help loss the weight when I returned to Australia.
I saw Jeskia for 3 work out session and I would recommend her to anyone. Jeskia motivated me more to want to lose the weight.
